Lost or found a pet in the Copperfield area? Here are some options for posting:
If you have lost a pet, put up signs in your immediate area as quickly as you can so people can be on the lookout. Because people may be reading your sign from their cars make the most important info LARGE: Lost, cat or dog (or other), lost — description including any important notes (like one blue eye, one brown eye), photo as large as you can make it. Fill the page so people in their cars can see it.
Don’t have a printer? Quickly make lost signs on cardboard. Several years ago, my cardboard signs said: LOST, DEAF BLACK DOG, LAB/BASSETT MIX and my phone number. He was spotted shortly after that sign was posted and it didn’t even have a photo.
The important thing is that you want as many eyes helping you look as you can get as soon as you can.
is this still active?
I’ve updated the post with new links. Seems like the original link is no longer publicly visible.
Found a long hair brown/gray tabby cat. Real sweet and will let you pet her/him. Needs home. Copperfield area.
Have you put up FOUND flyers so you can help this baby get back home to its family? It may have gotten out and gotten lost by accident. Do you have the NextDoor website in your area? If so, you might post him/her there as well. And call your local vet.

Put up lots of signs. That way people reading your signs become more eyes looking for your dog. Check the animal shelters — many have websites — in case he was picked up. And check them a couple times a day. Contact vet offices and give them a photo if you can. The more people who know about him and what he looks like, the more help you will have finding him. Good luck. I know how desperate you feel. And don’t give up.
REPOSTING – a dog was found and picked up by HC ACO. She was in the Village of Lake Pointe on Eldridge and West Little York. Her ID at shelter is 467040. Shelter is at 612 Canino Rd. 281-999-3191. Her days are limited. Pictures are on Nextdoor.com Copperfield. Looks to be an older golden pit mix – a little on the heavy side.
