A few weeks ago, a dog’s owner gave up her dog, Reese, after she lost her home. Last Saturday night, a resident of Southland, NJ called authorities to report a truck that was dragging a dog tied to its bumper. It was Reese, the dog given up a few weeks before.
An outpouring of sympathy and outrage came from all over the country. The dog, though severely injured, is recovering and authorities think they are close to an arrest.
