A shout out to Diane Sawyer

Several years ago, Diane Sawyer did a story on a family that had a multiple-birth event. They had six or seven babies, I can’t remember the details. A few years later, Diane went back to visit the family and see how things were going. The kids were a few years older and all very healthy and happy. She marvel at all the joy in the house and said, “If love is about paying attention…”.

I think those are words to live by, especially when you are feeling overwhelmed. Love can conquer a lot in your family. Sometimes it helps to slow down and just love.

Thanks for the wisdom, Diane Sawyer. I need to tell you myself one of these days.
